The summers going fine. In fact its going better than fine. Its going great. I got an A on my first paper and I was ecstatic. Classes are going good well. We learned about Typhoid mary and about all the issues surrounding that typhoid outbreak. We are also learning alot about Medicine in general. We learned about women in medicine and how their roles have changed over the years and also about the many changes and advancements of general hospitals over the course of time. The atmosphere of learning here isgreat and im really enjoying myself.

Malcolm your talent is evident. I am glad that you are doing well at Cornell. However, you need to not become complacent and this is the time to step up your energy. You want to finish off the program on a strong note. Keep up the intensity and continue to strive for excellence. Remember you want the teacher to write you a letter of recommendation for your college application. These letter of recommendations can make a difference in persuading the admissions office.
Further, I would love to hear you describe, as Yoline, the difference between Brown and Cornell. You are one of four students in our program that has been both to Brown and Cornell. What do you see as the strengths and weaknesses of these world renowned institutions. Our students can learn a lot from you. We want to read your insights.
Hope you can continue to work with Jamaya and Joseph. They both seem to be getting a great deal out of the class. I also want to hear how dinner went with your Professor. What did you learn from the dinner.

Thanks for the post. I would, also, appreciate hearing your take on the difference between Brown and Cornell and which one you might think is a better fit. Also, what are the things you think are important when making your college choice? They are different for everyone -- I'm just wondering what it is about the college experience that you will look at as your deciding factors -- rural vs. urban, large vs. small or what? It would be good to think about this before the College Fair next week so you know what kind of questions are useful to you to ask. Remember, next year at this time you'll be busy packing up for college.
